So I believe this approach passes the test of ultimately benefitting gamers after game storefronts have rebalanced and developers have reinvested more of their fruits of their labor into creation rather than taxation.

And you could have done this by just offering a fair open free trade market instead of harming devs with forcing them into deals they had no wish to partake in, by paying off their publishers who in many cases are just walking with the money and leaving that dev high and dry.

Mean while more than half of the game on Epic are from self publishing developers, then a number of games from indie developers with publishers for distribution support where the developer is the one that chose the exclusivity. Your post here is not based on reality at all.

But considering you are the one that seems to think there is a conspiracy theory that SJW media is attacking a game that SJWs hate because it has many things in it that triggers SJWs, is being done by a complicated web of investments and partnerships to help out Epic

Who said anything about sjw media. Its a bunch of connected singularly financially tied at the hip companies writing smear peices against a major competitor. Those are the facts, not opinion.

Epic has absolutely nothing to do with that. CDPR is an Epic partner we greatly respect. They’re currently taking pre-orders through the Epic Games store, and we’re big fans of their efforts to connect ecosystems with GOG Galaxy.

Then why is your business partners funding all these hit peices on them? Not even mentioning the fact that they all have north of one billion dollars invested into YOUR company? Why is it you will insult steam for nudity but embrace a full nudity game. Hypocritical just a bit no?

What situation are you referring to specifically? What partner is funding what article?

And how would Epic benefit from journalists criticizing CD Projekt? What’s the theory here?

The benefit is clear if GOG 2.0 does not replace your store page for booting up games on the user's desktop. It is not odd that each person writing these articles is directly under the same boss who owns each of these companies. And clearly you want a peice of the next goty.
