If the Epic strategy either succeeds in building a second major storefront for PC games with an 88/12 revenue split, or even just leads other stores to significantly improve their terms, the result will be a major wave of reinvestment in game development and a lowering of costs.

Because GOG Galaxy 2.0 threatens Tencent's investment in Epic and that third-rate Game Store.
-
How so? GOG Galaxy’s stated goal is to collect all of your games from all storefronts together in one place. Sounds good! Anything that reduces fragmentation among launchers puts the Epic Games store and other independent stores on a more even footing with Steam.

The benefit is clear if GOG 2.0 does not replace your store page for booting up games on the user's desktop. It is not odd that each person writing these articles is directly under the same boss who owns each of these companies. And clearly you want a peice of the next goty.

But you would benefit the most if your competitors didn't exist, you also know that steam can't operate at a 12/88 split. You can't even operate at a 10/90 split. I can't believe you mean we'll when you are openly causing strife amongst gamers and devs.
