If I'm not mistaken, I remember seeing your policy prohibits them from selling on other PC platforms, as well prohibits them from selling by 3rd party retailers, until recently you only "allowed them" to sell on 3rd party retailers that you "chosen", and have to be for Epic. 2/2

So have Deep Silver tried requesting keys to fulfill Shenmue 3 crowdfunding rewards? We keep hearing the likes of "I think Valve wouldn't allow it" but it's curious that we haven't heard of it being tried.
-
Yeah, this too. Why don't you just send the request for generating the keys? If they agree, great. If they refuse, then look at alternative options, such as letting backers get their key after the Steam launch instead of the regular launch date.

I mean, it's pretty obvious they won't reject your request if it's made when the game is on sale on Steam, if you were to let us choose to get Steam keys after the exclusivity The scenario in where they might reject the request would be if you try to generate them at launch, no?
-
Or are you saying they might reject your request even after the game is already out on Steam? Because I really really doubt that would happen.

I'm confident that Epic Games policy documents have very similar "stuff" like that. Don't pretend you don't know that this is only to avoid abusive misuse of Steam keys.
