The authors of a creative work have an unquestionable right to decide what to do with it. If they choose (or they delegate the decision to a publisher who chooses) to release on a store that pays them significantly more, that’s their right.

If customers cared about the % they would choose your store over steam without you forcing them to do so. Except people care about the service, which your store lacks so you have to force everyone into using your terrible store
