WTF, we love regressive taxes now? It's like a country that taxes most folks at 30%, but gives the wealthy a special tax rate of 25%, and the ultra-wealthy a 20% tax rate...

Just as gamers don’t like surcharges for high-overhead payment methods, developers don’t like stores charging 30% when its operating costs are a small fraction of that. These aren’t separate issues; they’re the left and right side of the cost equation.

I have a question do Epic games ues the revenue of their games to cover the cost of their store ?

Competition doesn't work when one of the stores hands out money, so the other stores can't sell the product.

And what do you have to offer for customers? You keep talking aboud developers and developers, but you're forgetting that consumers are also part of the market. Without you giving reason for them to buy willingly on your store, you won't go far

Steam did mighty fine with all the customers not willing to use Steam when Steam was being "forced", and it caused major outrage over Valve and it's partners for using them. Fast forward more than a decade and now people are upset when a game is not on Steam.

The services of Steam (and every other store except yours) extend to more features then just a selection of payment methods... Stop making those misleading statements to spin a false narrative!

Nothing he said was misleading, he even literally stated "super attractive service for you" when talking about Steam, meaning he is already addressing all the other features. You need to stop saying he is being misleading just because you refuse to read everything he stated.
