I know that sounds like an excuse, but you can see signs of the infrastructure work in third-party launches like Dauntless, with cross-play between 3 platforms powered by Epic online services.

I'll ask one thing, Tim. Can you at least understand why PC gamers (not just a vocal minority) are mad at your company? Buying timed exclusives while your launcher is still VERY MUCH unfinished is not a way to build a consumer base on your store. That's why Valve isn't responding

Then why did you lock away single player games like Metro if you know cloud saves are difficult. genius? What's your recommended method if I want to play Metro on my laptop away from my desktop?

Why didn't you use that FN money to invest heavily into R&D, before you launched the storefront? Why did you do such a bogus thing, as to launch it now "fix it" later approach instead?. DO you think that's objectively better for me and everyone else?.
-
The writing was on the wall for years. Gamers were sick of games being released unfinished and being fixed later, and here is Epic doing it with an entire store AND throwing anti-consumer practices on top of it. And they wonder why PC gamers hate them. It's a shame.

"Things like cloud saves have taken longer than we expected" You mean a shopping cart isn't infrastructure for a storefront? I've never seen a digital storefront not have a shopping cart before.

That's still not an excuse for the way you guys have handled the store/launcher. This should have been resolved before launch or shortly after. If EGS had just 75% feature parity to Steam out of the gate, PC gamers would have loved your store. I know I was excited at first.
