You know what's really funny?. You having to act smug to a bunch of gamers. Like yeah, I get that you're rich and have some brains, but you still act like a smug little rich kid, who thinks he's better than everyone else.
Just let it sink in for a second, mr CEO, mr brains beyond measure. You're acting in this manner, towards people who earn far less money than you do, who don't own or run a company, and yet they don't have to resort to "The state of PC gaming is strong, thanks to my store!".
Epic's storefront has relatively low operating costs compared to Steam because it doesn't do anything other than host games. The huge amount of pro-consumer QOL features Steam offers are nowhere to be seen 7 months later. You have no room to talk.
We’re working to build many more store features. Each feature takes time and money to build, but do not cost a significant fraction of revenue to operate, certainly not anything comparable to the 18% difference in store fees.
sounds funny when you complain about the same cut microsoft and sony ask for
Whoops! Now the topic is changing again! Was PC stores charging 30%, now it’s pivoting to why console platforms, which explicitly subsidize hardware costs through software revenue, charge 30%!
funny when you put people as fraud accounts for buying multipul games
There you go changing the topic again.
@t8styham @GundamIsHere front row seat, lads.
"Awesome" sales figures pushed by a 10€/$ discount & a 6,40€/$ LOSS per copy for your store even before the game was released.Yeah, stop throwing ludicrously inflated wild guesses about "huge success" around.
