OFC the exclusivity is BOUGHT! What is the point of exclusives if you don't get a monitary gain out of it! Being on EGS exclusive is like pre-selling 200k copies before even the game being sold. OFC every studio/publisher who is business savy will jump on the opportunity. (1/2)

It's dirty business and we're calling it out. I'd RATHER have my games on a decent platform first especially when said platform had ZERO hand in making the game. There's no cloud saves, no in depth controller support, no reviews, no social features.

Also explain why Activision/Blizzard still sells Sekiro on their own platform? It's still on steam? Explain all the current games not releasing on EGS if it's so good? The only people heading to EGS are for exclusivity agreements to force people over to a shit platform.

1) define "dirty business" (objectively), because buying temporal exclusivity is a regular transaction that exist since the dawn of the game industry. 2) Acti/Blizz sell Sekiro on their platform because it is FREE ADS for other games in their catalog. 3) EGS currates content.

"Also explain why Activision/Blizzard still sells Sekiro on their own platform?" - Muffins. Dunno dude from this sentence I understood Sekiro is published on Blizzard's platform, not Steam.

It's on steam but it's not a frist party exclusive and they didn't sign a exclusively deal with steam so you can find it on gog as well

Also let's not forget Tim said that if Valve drops the split to 12/88, exclusives will end. So where is Gaben saving the industry from evil Epic Games...

Yes. Believe Tom Sweeney on a bluff. This is trying to equate that Steam does nothing more for consumers than EGS...ignoring all the features Steam has that EGS still lacks or won't implement. Right now the bluff means nothing if Gabe met him, I don't see him following through

It's thanks to the EGS that other stores have poped up (like Discord one) with really good cuts for the devs. Even if you don't like the EGS for reasons X,Y,Z. you can't deny it brought a long lasting problem on the table that is now being disscussed and addressed.

And Tim's already stated that devs don't see the extra cut publishers do
