Why 12%? We chose this number to provide a super-competitive deal for partners while building an enduring and profitable store business for Epic. From that 12%, we net around 5% after direct costs and that could grow to 6-7% with greater economies of scale.

Are you able to talk about / break down how those margins hold up in different regions you're currently operating in?

My assumption is that your margins would be highest in North America (also the majority/plurality source of sales atm?) but I'm hardly an expert on this.

Payment processing in the US and Western Europe costs 2.5 to 3.5% on average, customer service 1% to 1.5%, and CDN bandwidth around 1% (and that’s for Fortnite, with huge weekly updates.)

Payment processing costs to Epic are up to 6% and a bit higher for some payments in less developed markets, but the average is lower, and trending down due to competition.

I know the Monero thing was an accident but would accepting crypto from the less developed markets (whom are more likely to use crypto due to hyperinflation of their native currency) cut down these processing costs?

Cryptocurrency has significantly lower transaction fees, but isn’t a silver bullet because getting real money into crypto incurs payment fees, and there is no recourse for fraud such as trojans targeting wallets.

Please consider adding a crypto option via BitPay or something. I know it may not be the best investment of development time but it would mean a lot as a statement of support.
