It'll probably end up being a third party solution that'll sync your launcher libraries. Scrapers already exist for metadata to fill in the media for the games. What would make it next level are community features with forums that could probably operate the same as IMDb did.

@TimSweeneyEpic You should be pushing for a Movies Anywhere type service then for pc digital store fronts so launchers aren't important anymore. I'd imagine the stores would remain separate to their respective launchers; it'd just be a frontend to play and talk about games. Not sure how it'd be monetized though... LaunchBox uses patreon to fund its development.
