@DuvalMagic @TimSweeneyEpic also as a long-time developer myself can I point out EGS is a Web app for all intents and purposes and the features on the roadmap, the WHOLE roadmap could be "one-click installed" on CMS built sites by layman? Just saying, months? Really?
All game services (Epic, Steam, PSN, Xbox Live, etc) are targets of DDOS attacks and all have proven quite robust.

most of said game services have been compromised to varying degrees in the recent years. So new, "untried" features = security holes. More unfound vulnerability - part of any new project. But Fortnite's a BIG target, so the risk is high.https://twitter.com/TimSweeneyEpic/status/1117510449933750278 …

you don't need to feel defensive about it either Tim. I worked in Web hosting for a long time fighting virii, malware, and asshole hackers. I actually sympathize. I dealt with hundreds of sites a day and it's a battle you'll eventually take a wound from. Period.

but that said, by backing you new, still-fleshing-out Game store on a popular back-end game service, with high (and controversial) media focus at the moment, it's not illogical to be concerned. Hackers and malware love big targets - it maximizes their potential "damage"
