I’m the controlling shareholder in Epic Games, and have been since 1991. We have a number of outside investors now. Tencent is the largest. All of Epic’s investors our friends and partners. None can dictate decisions to Epic. None have access to Epic customer data.

Would you like to explain the decisions to shut down Paragon and let UT stagnate, when Epic is pouring money at exclusives? If Tencent didn't decide to pour everything into Fortnite, who did and why? People like other games too.

These are Epic’s games and Epic’s decisions. Fortnite was growing faster than we had ever imagined, and it took all available resources to keep it running and move it forward across all platforms. The limiting factor then and now for Epic game development was people, not money.

As much as i hate the EGS and will never use it, i have to say a company wouldn't put THIS much into it if they had even a remote chance of shutting it down in a short term.

If we’re talking decades, we may need to band together to fight the killer robots at some point, but Epic has been in business for 28 years and the foundations of our business are very solid due to having revenue from both games and technology.
