In all of these cases, the developers and publishers have chosen to release exclusively with Epic because we made them a better deal than they felt they could get by releasing everywhere.

The time is to me in these exclusives is the worst part of these deals. No one should have to wait a year or six months. That is just punishment.

I can't even pre-purchase due to the limited regions of the Epic Games Store. It's a digital copy,it musn't be so difficult to sell.South Africa's laws is not so strict such as China .Why can't I buy a digital game on Epic Games, but I can buy it on every other game client?

I'll be a human and give you the benefit of the doubt. I care more about actions than words. Fundamentally you know how long it takes to get the most sales impact. I will meet you part of the way. A year, even six months is too long. Cut that time down and it will go a long way

To me it seems if you can go exclusive a few months until you've gotten the bulk of sales or just go head to head, subsidize the developers and undercut the other stores in the process you'd be saving more and achieving pretty much the same goal. People will always buy cheap

Is there anything that could be fundamentally detrimental to what you want to do by either a three month exclusivity deal or just undercutting other stores? I don't see it. Basically you're subsidizing them now anyway.
