@TimSweeneyEpic care to explain what’s going on with Observation after what was said here? The game was already set for Steamhttps://barrelrolled.com/epic-games-says-they-wont-make-another-metro-exodus-mistake-again …
-
-
So basically what you said at GDC was a lie?
-
At GDC, Steve Allison said “We don’t want to do that ever again” when asked about the Metro Exodus controversy, see:https://segmentnext.com/2019/03/23/epic-games-store-head-regrets-metro-exodus-we-dont-want-to-do-that-ever-again/ …

This is excellent approach. I'm happy to see that developers will have now a choice to go with any storefront they want without paying a hefty fee. Epic is a fresh air in this closed room.
-
It’s an awful approach. And Steams “hefty fee” is warranted. Complaining about it is like complaining that a Ferrari cost a lot of money. And paying millions to get a dev to remove games that were already advertised to Steam is extremely anti consumer and against what Steve said.

Its pretty sad that you and
@EpicGames are more focused on exclusivity than you are on customer experience. That's fine. I can wait until April 2020.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Valve has gotten thousands of dollars from me over the past 10 years. Epic will get nothing from me ever. You picked a fight with gamers. I really don't think you're going to win.
-
Wait, did you say that last line ironically? Please tell me you did. lol "You picked a fight with gamers". Jesus H Christ this is some sad shit.

However, everything you say is f

king shit,Your exclusivity deals is for business competition,I can understand this. But the act of blocking Chinese players and your exclusive monopoly is tantamount to depriving Chinese PC players of the right to play new games.

It's not available in China because Chinese government needs to give them permission to do business. That issue doesn't have to do with Epic Games.
