I spent good portions of my time yesterday trying to explain this situation, and the statement you corrected yesterday to them. Many of them are firmly in the 'Epic lied about the numbers' camp, even though it was nothing more than a simple mistake.

No, it's because buying an Epic Exclusive through Humble would still give us an Epic key, as per their FAQ about how buying games for other launchers works. We don't want to use a clearly inferior launcher that takes anti-consumerist actions. It's really that simple.
