@TimSweeneyEpic Any head way, or mumblings, from dev/pubs looking like they would be willing to ignore the 70/30 standard stores, without any exclusive deals from anyone? (I'm not asking for any names)

We’re talking with others in hopes of agreeing on standards for connecting ecosystems multilaterally to support accounts, social features, comms, game state, and purchases. These efforts are all guided by our current ad-hoc integrations of ecosystems.

For example, you can log into Fortnite on any open platform using an Epic, Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Google, or Facebook account. And though you don’t see an “@“ in player names yet, you’re seeing players from across 7 platform families.

Yes, we’d love to do this through standards that are available to everyone. Ultimately there needn’t be any couplint between the store where you purchase things, the platforms you use them on, and the tools you use to install and update them.
