@TimSweeneyEpic Do Epic get anything from Humble, like you guys get to write off Humble sales as charitable donations? Or is this all between the developer and Humble only, and you guys get no other benefit other than more eyes coming to your store when they activate those keys?

This is all between the developer and Humble. Epic doesn’t receive any revenue from these sales. Epic doesn’t receive any tax or other accounting benefits associated with the charity.

But I guess the number of keys they can sell via Humble is limited?

Oh no, Epic doesn’t impose any limits on keys or price or number of copies sold through Humble. It’s up to each game developer or publisher to decide.

So the dev/pubs able to put keys on Humble, is this available to them now, or do they have to wait till you guys get the linking completed first?

Devs can begin partnering with Humble right now using keys. There aren’t any limits on quantity or price. Account linking and direct purchasing will be coming later, for increased convenience.

Was Outer World up for Pre-order on Steam? If not, then it is nothing like what happened with Metro Exodus.
