You can make arguments for (and against) both of those things. But please explain how one relates to the other, besides both being manifestations of Apple having chosen to build a curated platform and to opt against using it as a way to sell ads?

Thank you for your honesty. While I applaud your efforts (especially dealing with conservation), I feel that my major criticism is that EGS seems to cater to developers first and consumers second (vice versa with steam).

I would personally prefer if EGS tried to build adoption with more carrots (like the generous free games every fortnight) vs sticks (Long exclusivity periods, suddenly stopping sales on other storefronts, and not being able to find deals on other sites like humble or greenman)

ugh, that is the worse about Reddit. Their system can completely shut down a constructive and informative conversation all due to outrage.

They are still datamining people’s computers without explicit permission and without a way to opt out of it. And we don’t know that they aren’t giving away the data, we literally just have to take their word for it.
