So @TimSweeneyEpic... Are exclusives ok now if they benefit you? https://www.pcgamer.com/epic-ceo-tim-sweeney-pummels-microsofts-uwp-initiative/ … Or are you going to keep pretending you were talking about something different?

Shitty tactics deserve review bombs though.... And steam is the cheapest platform for most gamers with their localized prices, the metro price reduction was NA only for me in germany Exodus costs 68 usd, thats not cheap thats expensive.... Local stores are 10$ cheaper than epic..

Oh give over Tim, if Valve threw around cash to keep third-party games exclusive on Steam a few years ago, you'd have been the first to complain. No amount of mental gymnastic is going to maneuver you out of the hypocritical position you've put yourself in. Money corrupts..

Wouldn't you say that exclusivity is causing a bigger backlash? I've seen that general consensus seems to be that they would have been fine with that greater choice of platform. Think about how you have offered free games that are also available on Steam, people love that.

(free being the biggest price difference you could have). I think it mostly comes down to vendor lock-in and I'm sure you've done market analysis on this that shows that even with feature parity, EGS wouldn't be able to move a lot of people over from Steam.
