This didn't age well

Y’all have every right to flame Epic for the inconvenience of multiple storefronts. We’re prepared to take it, because we believe it would be MUCH worse for the industry if Epic fails to gain traction, leaving developers and gamers stuck paying this 30% store tax forever.
-
Gain traction by being better. No dividing. But in the end, it's all about the money, like always. Doesn't matter if users doesn't like it, as long as the money keep rolling in.

I and most others would love to see more competition for steam and a healthier PC environment. I just think last-minute exclusivity deals are a overtly underhanded tactic. I'm okay waiting a year to play Metro Exodus, but it's still a kick in the teeth.
-
Hell, I might buy it on Epic, but I think the store needs some work and some of your practices need to be reexamined and tweaked before I'm willing to buy games from epic. I want you all to do great and compete with the best. Just don't forget the people who play the games.

Should've hit the ground running with most of the other necessities available too.

Yeah because exclusivity worked so well for Microsoft and the Windows Store? You could have generated so much good will with free games and funded exclusives alone instead of paying 3rd party devs to remove their games from Steam.
