There I am criticizing Microsoft “curtailing users’ freedom to install full-featured PC software, and subverting the rights of developers and publishers to maintain a direct relationship with their customers”, not exclusives.
Valve’s public reference to Steam *key* price parity is on https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/features/keys …. Any competing digital *store* price parity terms are not publicly disclosed and we have heard different things about the situation from different developers. Maybe Valve will clarify.pic.twitter.com/5XJwCFXcDd

i'm aware of this, this is the "getting started" documentation and not the agreement , your wording with "clause"etc make it seem like that, but this is merely a suggestion. About the "different things" any articles etc about that? but there already egs of games with diff pricing

The best you can do Tim is to make it clear to players and developers that using steam will limit their control in pricing their product. Reputations will ultimately dictate users and developers loyalty.
