So @TimSweeneyEpic... Are exclusives ok now if they benefit you? https://www.pcgamer.com/epic-ceo-tim-sweeney-pummels-microsofts-uwp-initiative/ … Or are you going to keep pretending you were talking about something different?

Being dishonest again. Being in this industry for years you should know very well that price parity clause for games that are not exclusives is a standard across basically all digital stores and retailers. You say "Steam does that" and you omit "as everyone else".
-
Price parity? More like price fixing. A despicable aspect of this industry. This is against the core idea of free market. Imagine all retail stories doing it. It would be insane, like in a communist country.

That clause only applies to steam KEYS sold elsewhere, not to something like a game being sold at the Epic Store. You're being purposely disingenuous but that's expected from Epic at this point, lol.

To clarify, whenever you change prices on Steam as a developer Valve has to approve the price change, and you're not allowed to have a different price on any other store for the game.

doesn't this apply only to steam keys sold elsewhere?

1. Devs will have to choose their chains. You will see they will lean towards the solution that provides them with more freedom/control. 2. Price disparity is where the competition/world is, talk to Amazon about it. At the end stores will be channels likely run by mostly by AIs.

"Please note that Steam keys cannot be sold on other sites unless the product is also available for purchase on Steam at no higher a price than is offered on any other service or website." There is no such mention on the Steam (Store) Pricing page.
