Yeah, exactly. My vote was based on "what is visually distinct AND uses symbols not in similar situations elsewhere". Code is like PCs in a class based shooter - careful silhouette design is important to visual clarity ;)

That is so true! Programming language theorists study denotational semantics, but the more interesting linguistic question is connotational semantics. What meaning do these symbols connote for users who have a range of math, english, and coding knowledge?
