Just admit you don't want to host forums and make them for multiple game. I mean, the money you don't take with your cut has to come from somewhere... cost cutting measures on customers. It's been a while since you played on PC I think.

Requiring the users to source for answers in various discussion boards (like reddit or gamespot) is messy and require new forum account, and in some forums, they tend to get dominated by discussions of latest AAA games, thus drowing out discussion for older or niche games.

If you're trying to get third party exclusives on your store, then it isn't n stores and n separate discussion forums, it's ONE store and potentially NO forum/review system. And yes, you do need at least one for consumers, journalists are an inconsistent meme at this point.
