If media companies like YouTube, which act as curators to literally billions of people, decide to censor speech according to their personal views, how is public discourse and democracy itself function?
I think it’s a deep story. Like the Supreme Court cases that blocked government censorship, the subject of the article is on trial before a jury of corporations who can block him from his audience and, more disturbingly, block his audience from exposure to his or anyone’s ideas.
