My idea was also among the line : 1/ Sector : Embedded/OS/Science/Financial/Aerospace/Applications/... 2/ Code base size : 10/100/1000k lines ? How much reuse ? => How much in % each industry represent to C++ code total. & Engineering practice per sector.

I have the feeling that the game industry is globally very tech & detail (language, feature, performance, maintenance) oriented than others, more that just "make it work".
