Hi tim. Ive been playing fortnite on my pc for a while now and I was wondering if more devices will support fort nite. Mid range androids in general. I have lollipop 5.1.1 and 3 GB ram on my samsung s6 and it can't run fortnite. Will more devices come in the full release?

We’re optimizing as much as we can, but we don’t think 3GB devices will be possible, since it’s the same game (with network compatibility!) across all platforms.

So I was digging into it, trying to understand how they do compression and prediction, and I got very lost. I switched to Unreal precisely for the netcode ease of use in my upcoming game, and this just isn't easy to use or understand.https://twitter.com/prvncher/status/1055095473491582977 …

I work across both engines. There is one module in UE4 which is almost 10000 lines long for the player controller. I found it quite challenging to grep that one.

Lol. Been there. To date still reinvent the wheel at unity netcode.

Looks nice though. Reminds me that
@survivetheark has still ShooterGame.exe in the header. Good templates matter.

In couple of years we will just tune Unity samples or gameready assets to make a new game. Coding will gone absolete.
