Actually some years later at Epic we went through a complete refactoring of our interviewing and hiring process around the "never say no to an Aras" principle.
I am curious which year this was, I remember applying in 2009. The whiteboard section definitely wasn’t me favorite. At one point two different interviewers disagreed on what they were asking me. One seemed annoyed I started an answer going for correct then moving to optimized.
Then I was asked to do production code on the whiteboard. I remember defending it for something then later on the plane home my brain was like “actually here is everything that was wrong with that code.”

You clearly need to interview again and bomb it just to see how well that policy works.
