It's a valid point. What's your argument? I'm pretty sure the average user would be put at much more risk by enabling Unknown Sources. I hope you at least tell your users to be extra cautious when doing this.
Good question! Google is the #5 most profitable company in the world. In my rough estimate, Google search revenue from Android users exceeds Google’s cost of developing Android by at least a factor of 20. I’d greatly appreciate any more refined estimate of this.

You want Google's search and ad department to pay for Android? That's not market intuitive and not feasible, the components of Google's should be self sufficient, it's how things develop otherwise they will trim resources and dev will slow..

Agreed. Google Play Store revenue should pay for the Google Play Store operation, the team’s review efforts, download bandwidth, and payment processing — and make a healthy profit. And market forces should keep them in check through many stores competing for everyone’s business.

Of course! Our code safety practices with Fortnite and with Unreal Engine in general are far beyond those of most apps in these stores, and Fortnite already goes through the far more stringent PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo certification practices on console.
