A while ago, someone noticed many Epic folks weren’t verified on Twitter, and offered to introduce us to a friend at Twitter who grants blue checks. I told them to fuck off, because so long as Twitter verification is tied to favors and cronyism, I didn’t want to be a part. @jack

They have so many opportunities in front of them — including a decent identity process — and they simply fail to execute. The engineering side seems great; the product side needs help.

It’s easier to be verified on Twitter than to prove to Epic games support that you are the real owner of a Fortnite acct.

I don’t know anyone at Twitter. One day a blue check randomly appreared on my account. I have no insight into what caused that to happen.

I agree with you, but you should check your own company. Some people were banned 24 hours from forum, reddit and/or twitch stream for complaining about the path Paragon was taking or just ask for towers damage and range, because "Epic knows better" (time showed we were right).

Tim will now have heard of paragon for the first time
