But is it really ram, or really an ssd on the memory bus? Time will tell, but I predict that it will be used as a block oriented backing store.

Looks like SSD on the memory bus, not a RAM replacement. Should have outstanding performance, though.

For a lot of workloads this will be a godsend. Not going to do much for timing sensitive operations like gaming, but web servers, SQL databases, etc this could be really useful.
