I taught several years in title 1 schools with SED (severely emotionally disturbed) children, I had classical music playing as they arrived ea morning, during quiet or rest times. It soothed all children. Was good for the gifted kids mixed in there as well, speaks their language.

Maybe the “stuffed shirt crowd” needs to recognize the “Wow” from us “underclass” folks. That youngster expressed what anyone would have when they witness an event that they haven’t experienced before. Music, Sports and just being nice is class free!
