    Classic Democrats: Take an already inadequate bill: gut all the popular provisions like climate, free college, Medicare negotiations etc. Then means test the hell out of what little is left for poor & working ppl but conveniently don’t tax the rich or means test them. Then…

    New - Biden told House progressives tuition-free community college is out of package, per multiple sources. Child tax credit won’t go as far as some would like — likely a 1-yr extension. Home health care likely less than $250B. Dems had wanted $400B. Climate change still a debate

    Grade so far: C- (it would be a D, but I’m hopeful he’ll shift to filibuster reform after this coming week), which is up from Trump’s F- (and that was a gift because there is no grade below an F minus, so it’s not possible to truly grade Trump’s assault on the republic)
