Twitch more than compensates for YT’S bullshit. Pre recorded content yes correct. But Twitch subs and bits are more value for money than the YT equivalents. CPM is hardly lower, and creator perks and benefits are far better on twitch. Would rather make a little money than none

YouTube basically doesn’t send out stream notifications, or promote streamers in anyway. Logan is an anomaly I would say, because I remember those streams happened at the same time as his popularity hit rock bottom. All I’m saying is YT is unsustainable

Little by little everyone seems to be switching to Twitch. 2018 has been the year Twitch is becoming the go too platform. Outside of Tik Tok. Just what I've noticed. Yes YT still works for a good portion but where in an era where diversification of platforms is needed to survive

I think the proof is in the numbers. ninja blowing up at a almost unbelievable rate. The consistency in his, and other big streamers numbers, and the sheer viewer base that day by day goes to twitch. YT will always be huge, but they aren’t innovating fast enough to stay #1 go to

I agree there, they are def starting to loose their #1 spot as of recently as far as platforms are concerned. Even sponsers are diversifying too with platforms I've noticed. I just have a feeling although I could be wrong that the 2020s r gonna be the yr of Twitch

I hope so man, YT need that big wake up call. Idn about you, but over here in New Zealand, twitch gets a lot of recognition at gaming events, Twitch booths etc, but you NEVER see YTG or even YouTube in general booths. They don’t care about extending

Now that you mention I don't notice YT gaming much outside of a footnote at gaming events over here. Its mostly Twitch focused with Mixer as a close 2nd. Agree YT gonna fall further behind on times if they dont hurry up. Ninjas YT is growing but I feel it's a result of Twitch.

I mean literally his only videos are twitch clips, so for sure. I’m not actually to sure how his YT is so much bigger than his twitch follower/sub wise. You’d think it would transfer somewhat equally. But it’s crazy cool whatever the reason

I wonder that too at times but either way I'm happy for him & wish him long term success. I've noticed instances where someone with 6M YT subs has less then 500k followers on IG & vice versa. Or has a higher engagement on IG but not as much on Twitter. As long as were happy
