What I love about teaching is finding the thing that will light the passion for a11y in the students. It is a joy to watch the growing light of that flame and think about all the wonderful things they will accomplish.

Don't just make it look like a table, please use proper HTML table markup. When you don't use a table, it means that I as a screen reader user have to remember a lot more.

This weekend I had the opportunity to try a few tools. One feature I liked is when the tool provided information on the algorithm used to identify a potential error.

I am looking for a good accessible current book or course on . I just tried the course and it is not going to work for me. I'm blind so a video only course without accessible slides or code won't work well for me.

Trying to make a modal dialog accessible. Needing to prevent screen reader from reading background content. Any detailed thoughts or advice? Evidently applying aria-hidden is probelmatic based on where the dialog is injected.
