Dang.
Someone should probably tell my husband & kids.
4 degrees.
8 years of full time school.
2 boys, 2 years apart - 1 while *IN* law school.
Thanks hubby, you are amazing to be there for me.

Okay. So how would you rank the following in order of priority? - Career - Husband - Family

They aren't really rank-able? My husband is my partner. My children are my children which means I have a duty to provide for them with love, parenting, and financial needs. My husband and I work as a team to support what makes sense to balance $ and time.

They all interact and are re-prioritized based on immediate needs. An emergency at work may mean a late evening. An emergency with my children or partner may mean a rescheduled work commitment.

When our children were very young, my husband was a merchant marine. Long absences became hard on the family so we reconfigured and started leaning on my profession to support our family. When you have a partner you collaborate, support and adapt to help everyone thrive.
