They’re trying to get out in front of the Sunday interview with Comey on ABC. I’ve heard people who saw the screening use words like “shocked”, “speechless”, and “surreal”.
I'm not even concerned with *why* the RNC made this choice. The fact that they did breaks my heart.
I know so many good, kind, reasonable Republicans. This certainly does not reflect their behavior. I doubt they know about it or how to change it if they do.

There will be some people who believe in winning at any cost that will cheer this on. There will also be people who end up hopeless, adrift and feeling unable to change the toxic environment we have.

I have many clients, friends, colleagues who are really lovely people and identify as Republican. I don't think it's super unusual for a national level platform to not reflect reasonable, prudent behavior seen on a regional level.
There are few good Republicans left in the party. Those of us who actually possess a soul, decency, and good sense have already Left. Oh, and FYI, that website paid for by the RNC is registered in Panama.
If they're good and kind, they're no longer Republicans. If, after all that's become known about Republicans, you still choose to call yourself one, you are not good and kind.
