I agree. If you're in public life or journalism, your words matter and you should choose them wisely. By putting yourself in the middle of a name-calling spat, you lower yourself and lose the argument. When you lower yourself, you also open yourself up to consequences. 1/2

2/2 To continue, While David Hogg was traumatized and should be given some leeway to "rant", those in office and journalism as well as the NRA didn't go through that same trauma and don't get nor deserve that same leeway. I don't believe I need to even use his youth as a defense.
