That was 30 years ago. Now I’m a teacher and I have to practice active shooter drills with my students in a room where there is NOWHERE to hide. The only way we will survive is if we escape out my windows or the shooter picks someone else’s room to target

So, full disclosure, I don’t understand why people feel safer with guns. Okay, some do. That’s their prerogative. But to decrease gun violence? I believe mandatory gun safety trainings should be required. I have to get a health check up to keep life insurance
