Hi Gregory. What's really bad about the water pollution issue in Texas is that the current Representative in #TX31 posted praise for Trump about relaxing the EPA regulations that will make this issue worse.

And the EPA is where this specific issue belongs. It's not as much an infrastructure problem, as a regulatory problem. If we keep rolling back EPA regulations, the water quality will continue to decline.

This is especially appalling to me as a scientist. The current administration is removing people with the knowledge to fix these environmental issues at an appalling rate.

I'd really like to see us ensure our budgets for any infrastructure project that has remote/digital access capability has a beefed up budget allotment for both initial project and continuing operations. We have had a long stretch where we didn't worry about war. #twittercongress

...at least not war that occurs on US soil, virtually or otherwise. The cold war "ended" when I was in school, at least to the general public. Perhaps not everyone got the memo on that one. It's a luxury to have calm, but we may have taken that calm for granted. #twittercongress
