I'd really like to see us ensure our budgets for any infrastructure project that has remote/digital access capability has a beefed up budget allotment for both initial project and continuing operations. We have had a long stretch where we didn't worry about war.

...at least not war that occurs on US soil, virtually or otherwise. The cold war "ended" when I was in school, at least to the general public. Perhaps not everyone got the memo on that one. It's a luxury to have calm, but we may have taken that calm for granted.
