      Florida’s 17th District has a number of infrastructure issues. I’ll talk about three. Agriculture is an enormous part of the economy in my district. We could benefit from educational programs to bring the farm technology into this century.

      Additionally, the Herbert Hoover Dike surrounding Lake Okeechobee is in serious disrepair. Each year we wait to see if the levees will hold during Hurricane season.

      There are several ways to pay for these issues. State Infrastructure Banks, Educational Grant Funding and by declaring Lake Okeechobee a National Monument we can utilize funding available through the antiquities act.

      This being said I live in Maine on the NH We have had two major bridges that connect us to New Hampshire. The funding issues from what I understand have been difficult. Maine has had more reserves and more to offer than nh. We I believe paid more than our fair share

      Hi Gregory. What's really bad about the water pollution issue in Texas is that the current Representative in #TX31 posted praise for Trump about relaxing the EPA regulations that will make this issue worse.

      And the EPA is where this specific issue belongs. It's not as much an infrastructure problem, as a regulatory problem. If we keep rolling back EPA regulations, the water quality will continue to decline.

      This is especially appalling to me as a scientist. The current administration is removing people with the knowledge to fix these environmental issues at an appalling rate.
