We must also protect our energy grid. We got proof this week that Russians have attempted to hack our grid. And it’s vulnerable. I’ve worked on initiatives to protect our grid, but we must do more. #twittercongress

Finally, with all of the above, we must change how we award contracts in this country. We have seen consequences of awarding federal dollars to unprepared contractors. We have seen that shortcuts can lead to disastrous results. #twittercongress

We must insist on quality. We must insist that the rich don’t get richer when delivering substandard work. We must protect our country and we must think forward to #EmpowerOurFuture #twittercongress

@tiffanybond #twittercongress Lots to think about so far. We do have very diverse districts. High speed rail not first on our hit list in #ME02...we are closing in on pot hole season here. Very poignant on both foreign interventions and funding options.
