That depends on where you are assigning the value. Campaign value? I suppose. I prefer a fiscally efficient approach where we don't throw $ at ineffective solutions, even if they are less expensive. #mepolitics

I don't know if that is how I would frame the question. First, we need to move from law being a competitive sport to it being a collaborative one. That may require shifting the composition of congress. Yelling mutually exclusive positions is not productive. #mepolitics

We should start problem-solving by coming up with a range of solutions using everyone's perspectives, both what they bring to the table and what is created in the discussion. Then you use the research/data that is legitimate to knock out the obvious bad choices. #mepolitics

A fiscal conservative is going to come up with different problem areas than someone who is focused on social justice - and that's a good thing! Who wants problem-solving from only one point of view? That's how you get deeply flawed laws with unintended consequences. #mepolitics
