As a retired teacher it's just nuts to think of leaving my class of terrified students grab a gun and go try to take down an active shooter putting even more bullets into the mass chaos. Collateral damage isn't a good choice. Neither is unsupervised kids in such a scary time.
Can we talk about what a bad idea it is to put guns in classrooms? How about we look at better alternatives?
