Violets were popular a few centuries ago. It's an acquired taste. Very acquired. Like lavender. On the other hand, nasturtiums are like pepper so those are good.

Apparently prefer them as a decoration...or in hand soap. The smell of these was exactly like a powder I got as a kid at
@Disney's epcot center. I thought I was *so* fancy. I think we've circled round to an earlier comment I made about nostalgia.
