A little over 11000 people were killed by guns in 2016. This doesn’t even support my stance On Gun control. However, we are told by - them - that these shooter situations are different types and we need to mobilize and ban/take guns to stop this. Why? Don’t the others count?
I don't know who "them" is. I personally notice that we have a real societal problem with native born citizens shooting groups of people. It's substantial enough we should be working on a plan to diffuse the cause. I'm open to solutions & would like to discuss what might work.

I don't know if taking guns is the answer. I just know we need to start doing something, because inaction is not effective.

I agree. I think the answers should/will involve increasing - or at least maintaining School and Safety (police etc.) budgets. Florida’s bill +enforcement; still needs to be enforced. Thanks.

I’m sorry, no judgement there, I’m just wondering aloud. The vitriol and divisiveness are part of the problem. Not that I know anything; just another schmoe, I think we need to improve the Enforcement of current laws and improve access to info already collected we change things.

There are enforcement & other systemic issues that should be a part of the solution. I try not to have a them or go hog wild with vitriol, neither is productive. We have a problem, we need to fix it. The solution cannot be in an idea vacuum. Hence, reaching out to Dana.
