Earlier today, someone asked me about my style...said I didn't seem to stand for anything. I thought I should explain. I stand for lots of things, but first and foremost finding ways we can work together. That means sharing information with you in ways you can accept it.
Turns out, there are a lot of you - and you have a range of opinions. That's amazing! All those opinions make better law, and a better democracy. I have all sorts of opinions, often strong ones, and ideas. I'm ready to bring those to the party.
BUT, here is where I am different than most folks who are running for office, I want to collaborate with you! I want to hear your ideas before I go spewing my ideas all over something. I try to listen first.
2 reasons... 1. You need people who listen making laws. We need to listen to constituents, experts and colleagues. 2. Your idea might make my idea better! I'm always open for new ways to do things that improve what I already do.

So...let's talk. If you don't know if I am reasonable on something, ask me. Representation is dialogue, not monologue. Real me isn't a shiny brochure with bullet points or some web text. Real me is interested in talking to real you. Let's figure out the best law together.#

I have seen @TiffanyBond criticized for being leftist and for not having clear positions. Doesn't matter when your goal, like hers, is simply making GOOD law that reflects the interests and needs of your constituents. To see what she's about read her bill shredding threads.
