I feel it is sufficiently late in the day to make this announcement: Today shall be known as the day of poorly judged puddle depths complicated by an inadequate shoe choice.

Every time I point out a puddle to my three year old so that he can step over it he takes it as an invitation to jump into it.
This is like so many activities that is better when done on purpose. Not a lot of serendipity in snow-bound puddles.

At 43, I still intentionally jump into puddles.....even when I'm not wearing puddle jumping shoes...it's a character flaw but I've got bigger character flaws to deal with ..
