I love the idea of using campaign contributions for good. I never understood why politicians didn't use donations to show what difference they could truly make by truly making a difference. Never been to Maine but I can assume that her citizens need what we need in California.
The incumbent has $2 mil. He could make a big dent in food insecurity, domestic violence shelters, emergency heat funds, etc. We waste millions on nasty election ads each year.
